MONMOUTH — Genealogy 101 will be offered at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Cumston Public Library on Main Street.
Tiffany Link, the research librarian for Maine Historical Society, will be guest speaker.
The program will cover getting started on a family tree, exploring techniques using print, learning about resources at Cumston Public and Maine State libraries, the Maine Historical Society and Monmouth Museum.
The program is free. An elevator is available via the rear parking lot of Cumston Hall.
