WATERVILLE — The city of Waterville Department of Public Works recently announced that curbside leaf pick-up will begin Monday, Oct. 24, and continue through Nov. 23; weather permitting.
Leaves must be bagged and placed at the curb separated from regular trash or recycling. Residents should use either compostable paper containers or plastic garbage bags left untied.
Generally, leaves will be picked up on normal trash removal schedules but could take place a day or two later because of the weather or other considerations. Leaves will not be picked up the week of Oct. 31-Nov. 4 because of Courtesy Recycling Collection.
