CONCORD, N.H. — A program to develop and build tiny houses is going to start in New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Lottery is teaming up with the New Hampshire Home Builders Association to start a workforce development program using high school students to build the 100-to-400-square-foot homes for people who want to downsize.

The program, which will be discussed at a news conference Thursday, will engage students form Career Center construction programs at four schools.

It will provide students with a chance to develop skills and experience to prepare them for the workforce.
