FAIRFIELD — Maine residents are required by law to register their dogs by Dec. 31 each year. If you have not already done so, stop by the Town Office to obtain a dog license.

A current rabies certificate is required at the time of registration.

Fees are $11 for unaltered dogs, $6 for altered dogs. A state mandated late fee of $25 will be added for each dog registered after Jan. 31.
