HALLOWELL — Breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m. Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11, by Cub Scout Pack 645 at the Goodrich-Caldwell American Legion Post 6, 114 Second St.
At 10:30 a.m. attendees will depart for Veterans Memorial Park at Hallowell Cemetery.
A program will begin at 11 a.m. with opening remarks by Cmdr. Jerry Stuart, followed by an invocation given by Post Chaplain Ernest DeRaps.
The program will include singing of the National Anthem by Joan Morgan, laying of the wreath by Comrade Ernie McPherson and a World War I song medley by Nancy McGinnis.
The Veterans Day address will be given by Maj. Scott Lewis. The Rev. Thomas DeRaps will give the benediction.
A gathering with refreshments at the Post Hall will follow.
In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park will include only the laying of the wreath.
