Maine State Police are trying to find the person who stole a pickup truck in Porter on Saturday morning and then stripped the black-colored Chevrolet 2500 of valuable parts.
State Trooper Brian Hink said the 2006 model truck was stolen from 147 Ossipee Trail in Porter sometime after 2 a.m.
When police recovered the truck, around 5 p.m. Saturday on the Sebago Road in Hiram, they determined that tires and tire rims had been stolen by the thief.
Anyone with information about the theft should contact Hink at 657-3030.
