MECHANIC FALLS — The listing agent says the former Harvest Hill Farm, where a teenager died in a haunted hayride crash, may continue operating as a farm.

Roger Gagnon told the Sun Journal that he has received serious inquiries for the $1.6 million property that include at least two plans to grow marijuana.

The farm went bankrupt after a 17-year-old-girl from Oakland was killed and dozens of others injured in the crash of the “Gauntlet” haunted hayride crash in October 2015. The property was sold at a foreclosure auction in July 2016 for $1 million, and now it’s up for sale.

Mainers voted to legalize marijuana for recreational use in November. Lawmakers must now sort out details, including taxing marijuana.
