SALEM — Lindsay Huff scored a game-high 19 points and Summer Ross added 11 as the Mt. Abram girls basketball team sank Carrabec 44-22 in a Mountain Valley Conference game Monday night.

Meg Sorel scored eight points for the Roadrunners (7-5) as well.

Bailey Dunphy scored nine points to pace Carrabec (3-10).

RANGELEY 58, GPC 15: Natasha Haley scored 25 points to go along with eight rebounds and three steals to lead the Lakers in Auburn.

Sydney Royce scored 15 points and Brooke Egan added eight for the Lakers as well.

RICHMOND 61, HYDE 16: Sydney Tilton’s double-double paced the Bobcats to the runaway Class D victory in Bath.

Tilton finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds for Richmond (13-0), while Mackenzie Abbott led all scorers with 20 points and added seven steals.

Tamisha Walker’s seven points led Hyde (2-11).

BOYS BASKETBALL

RANGELEY 39, GPC 32, OT: Carl Trafton scored five points during the Lakers’ 7-0 run in overtime to get a victory over the Lions in Auburn.

Trafton led Rangeley (4-9) with 14 points. Kyle LaRochelle — who nailed a 3-pointer to end regulation with a 32-32 tie that sent the game to overtime — chipped in with nine points. Ricky Thompson added eight points.

Ethan Spaulding led Greater Portland Christian (1-11) with 13 points.

BOYS HOCKEY

WATERVILLE 6, OLD TOWN/ORONO 0: Justin Wentworth and Matt Jolicoeur each scored a pair of goals at Alfond Arena on the campus of the University of Maine as the Purple Panthers won in a matchup of two previously unbeaten teams in Class B North.

Nathan Pinnette made 26 saves to earn the shutout for Waterville (11-0-0). Jolicoeur finished with three points, including a shorthanded goal late in the second period.

Brenden Gasaway made 27 saves for the Coyotes (9-1-1).
