WATERVILLE — Ken Vito Cruz scored 12 points and Javier Padilla added 11 as the Forest Hills boys basketball team held off Temple Academy 54-52 in an East/West game on Friday.

Dalton Gregoire scored nine points for the Tigers (10-6).

Brad Smith scored a game-high 38 points to lead the Bereans (7-9).

RANGELEY 71, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 31: Kyle LaRochelle scored 13 points and Ricky Thompson added nine as the Lakers rolled in an East/West Conference game.

Kenny Thompson also scored nine points for Rangeley (6-10).

Jeffrey McCoomber scored 11 points to pace Highview Christian (1-16).

MADISON 61, DIRIGO 45: Sean Whalen scored 21 points to lead the Bulldogs to a Mountain Valley Conference win in Madison.

Mitchell Jarvais scored 15 points, while Nick Morales added 14 for Madison (15-3).

Luke Lueders led Dirigo with 17 points.

HALL-DALE 74, MT. ABRAM 37: Alec Byron led the Bulldogs with 23 points in an MVC win in Farmingdale.

Tyler Nadeau scored 12 points, while Ashtyn Abbott added 10 points and six rebounds for Hall-Dale (13-4).

Dan Luce led Mt. Abram (4-13) with 15 points.

RICHMOND 79, ISLESBORO/CENTRAL 40: Zach Small scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Bobcats in Richmond.

Cody Tribbet scored 15 points, while Matt Rines chipped in with 12 points for Richmond (14-1).

Jon Bareford-Runnion led Islesboro (9-8) with 16 points.


FOREST HILLS 55, TEMPLE 38: Caitlin Logston scored 25 points and Patricia Lessard added 19 as the Tigers prevailed in a D South game in Waterville.

Demi Giroux scored seven points for the Tigers as well.

Selam Heinrich scored 14 points and Deleyni Carr added 12 to pace Temple.

RANGELEY 52, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 25: Sydney Royce scored 19 points and Natasha Haley added 13 as the Lakers cruised. Celia Philbrick contributed 12 points for the Lakers (13-3).

Megan McDonald scored 10 points to lead Highview Christian (4-13).

MADISON 57, DIRIGO 39: Sidney LeBlanc scored 16 points to lead the Bulldogs to an MVC win in Dixfield.

Madeline Wood added 12 points for Madison (12-3) while Ashley Emery chipped in with 10 points.

Kaicey Conant led Dirigo (4-13) with 12 points.

MONMOUTH 58, WINTHROP 38: Tia Day scored 19 points to lead the Mustangs in Winthrop.

Abby Allen added 13 points for Monmouth (14-3).

Jillian Schmelzer led Winthrop (10-7) with 10 points.

RICHMOND 55, HEBRON 31: Sydney Tilton had a double-double, scoring 29 points and grabbing 17 rebounds, to lead the Bobcats over the Lumberjacks in Richmond.

Meranda Martin scored 11 points, while Caitlin Kendrick had five rebounds and five steals for Richmond (17-0).

Franceska Halloran led Hebron (9-6) with 11 points.

MT. ABRAM 56, HALL-DALE 28: Summer Ross scored 21 points to lead the Roadrunners to an MVC victory over the Bulldogs in Salem.

Lindsay Huff scored nine points, while Meg Sorel added eight points for Mt. Abram (9-8).

Cat Kincaid led Hall-Dale (1-16) with 12 points. Sabrina Freeman chipped in with 10 points.
