WINSLOW — Heather Kervin scored 14 points — including her 1,000th career point — to lead the Winslow girls basketball team to a 47-27 victory over Waterville in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A game on Saturday.

Kervin scored her 1,000th point three minutes into the contest on a 3-pointer. She also finished the game with four rebounds and three steals.

Paige Trask added 11 points for the Black Raiders (14-2).

Maddie Martin led the Purple Panthers (8-8) with eight points.

NOKOMIS 36, MOUNT VIEW 24: Chelsea Crockett scored 13 points to pace the Warriors to the KVAC B win in Thorndike.

Sidney Moore added 10 points for Nokomis (12-4).

Andrea Crosby led Mount View (6-10) with 12 points.

SKOWHEGAN 42, GARDINER 40: Annie Cooke scored 16 points, while Mariah Dunbar added 12 points to lead the Indians to a win over the Tigers in Gardiner.

Sydney Reed added six points for Skowhegan (12-4).

Lauren Chadwick and Aimee Adams each scored 11 points for Gardiner (10-7).

MCI 54, ERSKINE 21: Ciera Hamlin scored 16 points to lead the Huskies to the KVAC win in Pittsfield.

Dee Urena added 12 points for MCI, while April McAlpine scored 10 for the Huskies.

MESSALONSKEE 75, CONY 29: Sophie Holmes had 12 points, 10 rebounds and three assists to lead the Eagles to the KVAC A win in Oakland.

Ally Turner added 14 points for Messalonskee (16-0) while McKenna Brodeur chipped in 13 and Gabrielle Wener 11.

Cony (0-16) was led by Sydney Avery with 10 points.

BOOTHBAY 67, MADISON 36: Lauren Hay scored 12 points, but it wasn’t enough for the Bulldogs in a Mountain Valley Conference loss to the Seahawks.

Ashley Emery added eight points for Madison (12-4).

Page led Boothbay (16-1) with 25 points.

BANGOR 44, LAWRENCE 26: Lauren Young and Katie Butler each scored 12 points to lead the host Rams (8-8) to the KVAC A win.

Lawrence (10-6) was led by Camryn Caldwell with 10 points.

BOYS BASKETBALL

BANGOR 57, LAWRENCE 42: Mason Cooper scored his 1,000th career point but the Bulldogs fell to the Class AA Rams in Fairfield.

Cooper, a senior, got the milestone basket on a free throw in the second quarter and finished the game with 27 points for Lawrence (3-13).

Bangor (6-10) was led by Damien Vance with 19 points.

NOKOMIS 53, MOUNT VIEW 46: Zach Hartsgrove and Brad Allen each scored 15 points to lead the Warriors to a KVAC B win over the Mustangs in Newport.

Josh Smestad added 10 points for Nokomis (9-7).

Devon Davis led Mount View (7-9) with 20 points.

MCI 56, ERSKINE 47: Jose Montes scored 14 points to lead the Huskies to a win over the Eagles in South China.

Owen Williams added eight points for MCI (5-11).

Braden Soule led Erskine (8-8) with 17 points. Noah Bonsant chipped in with 12 points.

WINSLOW 51, WATERVILLE 27: Keanu Earle scored 15 points to spark the host Black Raiders to the KVAC win.

Spencer Miranda and Jack Morneault each added 11 points for Winslow (12-4).

Alan Martin scored nine points to lead Waterville (1-15).

GARDINER 64, SKOWHEGAN 63: Hunter Chasse and Cole Heaberlin each scored 18 points as the Tigers held off the Indians for the KVAC A win in Gardiner.

Skowhegan (8-8) started the fourth quarter down by 11 before Gardiner (10-6) was able to pull out the win.

Isaiah Magee added 16 points for the Tigers. The Indians were led by Cole Pierce and Garrett McSweeney with 17 points apiece and Cam Barnes with 15.

BOYS HOCKEY

WATERVILLE 6, BREWER 1: Justin Wentworth scored two goals and added three assists to lead the Purple Panthers to a win over the Witches in Brewer.

Andrew Roderigue scored two goals and had an assist, while Jackson Aldrich scored a goal and tallied three assists for Waterville (14-0).

Jack Watkins scored the lone goal for Brewer (8-6-1).
