NEWPORT — Zach Hartsgrove scored a team-high 22 points, one of three Warriors in double figures, as Nokomis upset Hampden Academy 67-58 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A boys basketball game Tuesday afternoon.
Josh Smested and Brad Allen each had 13 points and six rebounds for Nokomis (10-7) in the win. Hartsgrove also pulled down six boards.
Ian McIntyre scored a game-high 24 points for Hampden (13-4), which trailed 33-23 at the half.
