Maine State Police are investigating the death of a 43-year-old Belmont man whose body was found outside of a home in Waldo County Wednesday night.
The body of Edwin Littlefield was found outside a home in the town of Waldo, near Belfast, when Waldo County sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene in response to a 911 call.
State police say detectives have interviewed people who were at the home on Kendall Corner Road Wednesday evening. They have not released any other details about the incident.
The body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Augusta for an autopsy on Thursday.
