WATERVILLE — Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area will offer a 20-hour facilitator training for its grieving children’s program, Hope’s Place, starting Monday, March 6. Training is set for 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturdays, March 11 and 18, and 5:30-8:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, March 6, 8, 13 and 15, at the center, 304 Main St.

Those who complete the training can co-facilitate a peer grief support group for children, teens, and their parents or guardians.

The mission of Hope’s Place is to provide a safe, supportive environment for grieving children, teens and families through peer support groups, which nurture and encourage safe expression of grief and loss.
