AUGUSTA — The Augusta Nature Club will hold its regular luncheon meeting at noon Wednesday, March 1, at the Capital Area Technical Center. 40 Pierce Drive.

Lunch will be served at noon, followed by a brief business meeting.

Gaby Howard, a Maine Master Naturalist, will deliver the program, “The Strange and Fascinating World of Plant Galls.” Participants can learn about all kinds of galls, which are growths on plants caused by many organisms, including insects, mites and bacteria.

Cost is $6.
