AUGUSTA — Augusta duplicate bridge club winners forThursday, Feb. 16, were Dennis Purington placed first, then a tie among Stefanie Barley, Glenn Angell, and Diane Bishop.

Wednesday’s bridge winners were Ron Cote and Les Buzzell, Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman, and Kathleen Burden and Sharron Hinckley. Winners on Thursday were Sharron Hinckley and Paul Mitnik, Les Buzzell and Anil Goswami, and Dennis Purington and Glenn Angell.

The club meets at 1 p.m. Wednesdays at Granite Hill Estates, 60 Balsam Drive, Hallowell, and 6:30 p.m. Thursdays at Kennebec Plaza, 20 Willow St., Augusta. All are welcome; a partner is guaranteed. For more information, call Janet Arey at 933-4984.

Fairfield Bridge Club

FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield nonsanctioned bridge club winners on Tuesday were Diane Bishop and Jackie Chadbourne, who placed first; David Bourque and Suzon Morrison tied for second with Ed and Joyce Rushton; and Peggy Thomposon and Anita Mathieu, third.

HALLOWELL — Spectrum Generations William S. Cohen Community Center, announced its recent bridge and cribbage winners.

Game day bridge winners on Wednesday were Gene Murray, who placed first; Hanneke McQuoid, second; and Diane Dionne, third.

Bridge winners on Thursday were Don Albert, who placed first; Henry Strout, second; and Priscilla Atwood, third.
