GARDINER — Muddy Ruckus will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 4, at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center, Water Stree. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
Muddy Ruckus is a nationally touring americana-rock duo from Portland. The stripped down power duo features guitarist Ryan Flaherty and percussionist Erika Stahl.
The band blends haunting male/female vocals, rootsy guitar and edgy percussion on a suitcase drum kit. The band seasons their music with the salt of the eastern old ports and the mud of the Mississippi River where Flaherty grew up, creating a blend of bluesy folk rock, foot stomping rhythms and haunting vocal melodies.
Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors or $5 for youth. Tickets are available noon-3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday at Friday at Johnson Hall’s Box Office and Friday, call 582-7144 or visiting their website at www.johnsonhall.org
