OAKLAND — Twenty-six portraits of recent immigrants to Maine, provided by professional photographer Jan Pieter van Voorst van Beest, will be on exhibit through March 31 in the Messalonskee High School Library.

The community is invited to view the portraits and learn the story behind each person from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 22.
