MADISON — Maine Event Comedy will present comedian Dan Boulger at 7 p.m. Friday, May 12, at Somerset Abbey, 98 Main St. The show will also feature Tuck Tucker, Josh Day and host Mark Turcotte.

Boulger, who ditched college to pursue his stand-up comedy dream, released his debut album ‘Not Ready For This’ in May of 2016. The Boston native has worked with Dennis Miller and Zach Galifianakis and has twice appeared on CBS’ Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. At 20-years-old, he took first-place in the 2006 Boston Comedy Festival and has since performed on Comedy Central, The BBC and HBO’s Aspen Comedy Festival.

Tucker’s verbal wit and physical comedy have made him a favorite throughout New England. He’s a founding member of Portland’s Running with Scissors improv group and was a finalist on HBO’s Lucky 21 Comedy Showcase in New York City. He’s performed at the Hartford Funny Bone, the Rhode Island Comedy Connection and the Comedy Nest in Montreal.

Day runs the Stone Church Comedy Series in New Hampshire and has opened for comedy legend Dave Attell. He’s a familiar face at the Maine and Hampton Beach comedy festivals.

Turcotte was selected for the Boston, Cleveland and North Carolina comedy festivals and will soon make his national television debut on AXS TV’s ‘Gotham Comedy Live’.

Tickets cost $10, the show is for ages 16-plus and will contain adult language and content. For tickets, visit somersetabbey.com or stop by Pizzarama in Madison.
