ORNEVILLE — The Maine Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a fire that killed a man in the community of Orneville in Piscataquis County.
Investigators say the house was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived early Tuesday. Firefighters discovered the body of a man and two dogs after the fire was put out.
The victim’s identity was not immediately released. The state Medical Examiner’s Office was trying to confirm the man’s identity and the cause of his death.
