WATERVILLE — Three players had hat tricks to lead Gardiner past Camden Hills 12-5 in the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B boys lacrosse championship Saturday at Thomas College.

Tristan Hebert, Connor Manter and Tanner Hebert each scored three goals for the Tigers (13-0). Michael Poirier, Kyle Johnson and Cam Bell scored a goal apiece as well. Noah Keene made seven saves.

Thomas Greibel led Camden Hills (9-4) with two goals while Morgan Mercier, Owen Rockus and Elliot Matlack had one each. Jack Morse stopped 22 shots.

BASEBALL

ERSKINE 3, NOKOMIS 1: Erskine banged out four hits to support a strong outing from Nate Howard as the Eagles won the KVAC B title at Thomas College.

Howard pitched four innings, striking out seven to earn the victory.

Chandler Moore pitched the sixth and seventh innings to earn the save for the Eagles.

Erskine scored three runs in the first inning and then held on from there.

GIRLS LACROSSE

LEWISTON 10, MESSALONSKEE 9: Christine Chasse scored three goals to spark the Blue Devils to the win in the KVAC A championship.

Shaima Naji, Sasha LeClair and Erin Lachance had two goals apiece for Lewiston (9-4) while Morgan Eliasen added the final goal. CC Racine made five saves.

Ally Turner led all scorers with seven goals for Messalonskee (11-2). Lauren Pickett and Jenna Nash each scored one. Gabby Languet made nine saves in the cage.
