SKOWHEGAN — Skowhegan History House Museum & Research Center will launch a new program series, Let’s Talk Local History, at the History House, 66 Elm St. The series will run from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursdays, June 8, July 6, Aug. 24 and Sept. 21.
Locals are invited to share interesting stories, experiences and artifacts with museum staff in small, informal discussions. The round table discussions are designed to be educational and entertaining.
The purpose of the free discussions is to enrich one’s understanding of this area’s history about life in earlier times and to engage older citizens.
