SKOWHEGAN — Cedar Ridge Center’s 74 residents, their families and staff recently were treated to a chicken barbecue by Skowhegan Elks Lodge.
This is the third year the group has applied for a community grant, which has enabled the members to provide the first summer barbecue, including entertainment. Local club members worked the grill and served everyone.
This year the club hired Debbie Myers to sing while the meal was being prepared and served.
