UNITY — The Open Door, a monthly community table, and the Food Mobile Program of Good Shepherd Food Bank, will distribute perishable and nonperishable foods to communities in the surrounding areas through a mobile food pantry from 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, June 29, at the Field of Dreams on U.S. Route 202.
The trailer truck from GSFB has six refrigerated bays packed with five to eight types of perishable food items as well as other available products. The items will be set out on tables for people to choose from.
Any person in need is welcomed. Be sure to bring own bags and boxes. Individulas can leave with 30-50 pounds of food.
