The Augusta 14U Babe Ruth All-Stars finished their pool play at the New England Regional Tournament on Sunday, defeating Keene, New Hampshire, 9-8 to win two of their three games in the round.

Augusta lost to host Trumbull, Connecticut, 5-4 Saturday after beating North Providence, Rhode Island, 11-3 on Friday.

Riley Geyer had two hits and two RBIs in the win over Keene, while Akira Warren and Luke Anderson also drove in runs. Bobby Stolt struck out three in three innings.

Augusta will now play in the regional quarterfinals against a team to be determined by the seeding in both of the tournament’s conferences.
