The Town of Benton will hold a municipal election to fill a vacated seat for selectman previously held by Dan Chamberlain. Voting is scheduled for 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, at the town office.
The term will run for seven months.
Absentee ballots are available. Candidates whose name will appear on the ballot are as follows: Douglas Dixon, Dwight Lanning and George Moody.
