Veterans Night at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at 70 Holmes Road, in Scarborough.
The evening will feature a pinning ceremony to honor Vietnam Veterans as part of Veterans Count Maine’s Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemoration.
The ceremony is for any U.S. veteran who served during the period of Nov. 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975. Each veteran is eligible to receive one lapel pin. For more information about the ceremony, visit vietnamwar50th.com.
Veterans also can be honored by attending the event and registering the evening of the event, but registration is appreciated and veterans enter for free.
