SOUTH PARIS — Mike Miclon’s The Early Evening Show, featuring stand-up comic Dawn Hartill, juggling sensation Michael Menes and Fritz Grobe, Tom Murphy, and the Early Evening Show Orchestra, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at the Celebration Barn, 190 Stock Farm Road.

The Early Evening Show, a spoof of late-night talk shows, has been performed from Maine to Switzerland and built its reputation with a 14-year run at the Oddfellow Theater in Buckfield.

Hartill, from Lewiston, is a mom to three teenage boys. Her humor is drawn from her observations on life, marriage and the experiences of trying to excel at motherhood. She has performed throughout Maine, most notably with Maine Event Comedy, at Portland’s Laugh Shack, at Lewiston’s Thread Theater, and as part of the Portland Comedy Showcase. Hartill is the 2016 winner of The Strand Cup Comedy Competition and was a quarter finalist in The Couch Summer Comedy Classic in Portland.

Menes is a contemporary vaudevillian who got his start at the Barn, where he studied theater, mime and improvisation with director-teacher Tony Montanaro. Mene’s shows, featuring nimble antics and high-flying comedy, have been seen by over 200 million people through appearances on international TV specials like CCTV’s International Humor Festival (China Central TV) and Le Grande Cabaret du Monde in Paris, France. He has also performed for Cirque du Soleil, Royal Caribbean, at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, and at the Shanghai International Comedy Festival.

Tickets cost $15 for adults, $13 for seiniors, $10 children. All tickets are general admission; members receive priority seating.
