BREWER — The Brewer High School girls soccer team stunned defending regional champion Waterville on Tuesday, riding a two-goal performance from Maria Low to pull out a 3-1 victory in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game.

Waterville, which dropped to 3-1-0 to start the season after winning the Class B North title last fall, is 42-2-2 in the regular season since the beginning of the 2014 campaign.

Emily Lord also scored for Brewer (3-1-0).

Hannah LeClair scored the lone goal for the Purple Panthers, while Ally Drew made five saves.

ERSKINE 2, OCEANSIDE 0: Tori Grasse and Haymanot Maynard each scored to lead the Eagles in South China.

Kayla Hubbard and Annemarie Allen each had assists for Erskine (3-1-1), while keeper Taylor Shute had seven saves.

Rachel Joyce had 15 saves for Oceanside (2-1-1).

CARRABEC 6, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Bailey Dunphy scored two goals to lead the Cobras to a Mountain Valley Conference win in North Anson.

Makayla Vicneire, Lindsey Westbrook, Anika Carey and Skylar Chipman each had goals for Carrabec (2-1-1). Vicneire and Chipman each had an assist.

Lauren Sterling had 20 saves for Mountain Valley (0-4-0).

WINSLOW 3, MOUNT VIEW 1: Carly Warn scored twice as the Black Raiders raced out to a 3-0 lead and then held on for the KVAC B win in Winslow.

Sara Doughty also scored for Winslow (2-0-0), while Broghan Gagnon made five saves to preserve the win.

Monica Wren scored for Mount View (2-2-0).

LAWRENCE 5, BELFAST 3: Harley Dixon had two goals and an assist to lead the Bulldogs to their first win of the season in Fairfield.

Hannah Walsh, Alyssa Bourque and Ashley Rhoades also scored for Lawrence (1-3-0), while Riley Hanson made five saves.

June Robertson-McIntyre scored had a hat trick for Belfast (1-4-0).

MT. BLUE 2, CONY 0: Sierra Keim had a goal and an assist for the Cougars.

Jocelyn Daggett scored the first goal of the game 3:50 into the second half on an assist by Keim, who scored unassisted with 6:45 to play in the game. Mackenzie Libby made three saves for the Cougars (1-3).

Kiara Henry made 12 saves for Cony (0-4).

BOYS SOCCER

WINSLOW 5, MOUNT VIEW 2: Matt Phillips and Isaac Lambrecht each scored a pair of goals as the Black Raiders prevailed in a meeting of KVAC B unbeatens in Thorndike.

Senior striker Jake Warn also scored for Winslow (2-0-0).

Elijah Allen scored both goals for Mount View (4-1-0).

VALLEY 9, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 3: Joey Thomas scored five goals to lead the Cavaliers in Bingham.

Devon Messer had three goals, while Mason Wyman added a goal for Valley (1-2-0). Dillon Beane had 11 saves.

TJ Sheldon had 15 saves for Highview Christian (0-2-0).

BELFAST 1, LAWRENCE 0: A goal by John Jones was the difference as the Lions prevailed in Belfast.

Aiden Starr had 10 saves for Belfast (1-4-0). Nick Reeves had nine for Lawrence (0-3-1).

MESSALONSKEE 2, OXFORD HILLS 1: Christian Alley scored twice in the second half, erasing a halftime deficit as the Eagles rallied to the KVAC A win in South Paris.

Dawson Charles made five saves for Messalonskee (1-2-1).

Zach Wilson scored in the final minute of the first half for Oxford Hills (0-3-0).

BREWER 5, WATERVILLE 1: Gavin Matthieu scored a pair of goals to lead the Witches to the KVAC B win in Brewer.

Connor Roope and Nate Laskey sandwiched second-half goals around Matthie’s second of the game as Brewer (4-0-0) ran away in the final 40 minutes.

Eben Charles scored the lone goal for Watevrville (0-3-1).

ERSKINE 7, OCEANSIDE 0: Travis Dow finished off his hat trick with under 12 minutes remaining, and the Eagles finished off the Mariners for the KVAC B win in Rockland.

Austin Dunn, Alex Cleaves, Sage Hapgood-Belanger and Michael Sprague also scored for Erskine (4-0-1), while David McGraw made three saves to earn the shutout.

Gavyn Tower made 13 saves for Oceanside (0-3-0).

FIELD HOCKEY

MESSALONSKEE 6, EDWARD LITTLE 1: Chloe Tilley scored a pair of goals to help the Eagles (4-0) stay unbeaten with a KVAC A win in Auburn.

Ally Turner had a goal and two assists for Messalonskee, while Megan Quirion, Autumn Littlefield and Annie Corbett also scored. Haley Lowell had an assist, and Julia Vigue (one save) got the win in net.

Grace McBride scored for Edward Little (2-2).

LAWRENCE 3, BREWER 2, OT: Camryn Caldwell scored with 1:13 left in overtime to lift the Bulldogs in Brewer.

Macie Larouche scored twice during regulation for Lawrence (2-2-0).

Maria Maxsimic and Loli Eddy each scored for Brewer.

SKOWHEGAN 5, CONY 0: Maliea Kelso scored a pair of goals as the Indians (3-1) won a KVAC A game in Augusta.

Julia Steeves, Alexis Michonski and Bhreagh Kennedy scored for Skowhegan, while Kelso, Michonski and Kayla Furbush had assists. Leah Savage made six saves for the Indians.

Jacki Carlton made 18 saves for the Rams (2-1-1).
