RICHMOND — Zach Small scored 32 points to lead the Richmond boys basketball team to a 68-62 win over Dirigo in a Mountain Valley Conference game Wednesday night.

Matt Rines had 18 points and four steals, while Casey Gorman scored eight points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Bobcats (8-2). Danny Stewart pulled down 13 rebounds for Richmond.

Cooper Chiasson led the Cougars (6-4) with 23 points. Jeremy St. Germain added 12 points.

KENTS HILL 52, BREWSTER ACADEMY 47: Darius Hinds scored 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the Huskies over the Bobcats in Kents Hill.

Tim Adetuyole scored 14 points and had five steals, while Latrell Bryant had five points, eight rebounds and four assists for Kents Hill (6-5).

Brewster Academy falls to 0-10.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

BUCKFIELD 34, KENTS HILL 32: Jarni Hewins scored 10 points for the Huskies in a loss to the Bucks in Buckfield.

Tiffany McGhie and Lauren Murray each added six points for Kents Hill (4-2).

Katie Henderson led Buckfield (1-8) with 13 points. Hannah Shields added seven points.
