FARMINGTON — Zach Hartsgrove scored 20 points, including his 1,000th career point, to lead Nokomis past Mt. Blue 78-50 in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A boys basketball game Thursday.

Hartsgrove hit the milestone on a free throw in the third quarter. Josh Smestad added 16 points for Nokomis (5-5) while Hayden Black chipped in 10.

Mt. Blue (0-10) was led by James Anderson with 14 points and Marshall Doyon and Caleb Talbot with eight apiece.

LAWRENCE 69, BREWER 62: Colby Nadeau scored 21 points and Gavin Herrin added 20 to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC A win.

Nick Robertson scored 13 points for Lawrence (4-5), trailed by one at the half but scored 29 points in the third quarter to surge ahead.

Isaac Cummings scored 18 points to lead the Witches (3-6).

SKOWHEGAN 57, ERSKINE 51: The Indians outscored the Eagles 19-9 in the final quarter to pull out the KVAC A win in Skowhegan.

Marcus Christopher scored a game-high 24 points to lead Skowhegan (7-3) while Kiel Lachapelle and Cam Barnes added 10 apiece.

Erskine (3-6) was led by Jack Jowett with 22 points and Austin Dunn with nine.

OXFORD HILLS 61, CONY 55: The Vikings held the Rams scoreless in the third quarter and took advantage of 21 Cony turnovers to earn the KVAC A win in Augusta.

Spencer Strong scored 19 points to lead Oxford Hills (5-4) while Colton Carson added 17 and Chris St. Pierre 14.

Cony (5-5) was led by Jordan Roddy with 19 points. Austin Parlin and Simon McCormick each added nine points.

BELFAST 63, MARANACOOK 60: Stanley Sturgis scored 19 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead the Lions to the KVAC B upset in Readfield.

Chris Kelley added 16 points for Belfast (5-4), which outscored Maranacook (7-2) 24-13 in the fourth quarter.

Silas Mohlar led the Black Bears with 14 points and Duncan Rogers chipped in 12.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

SKOWHEGAN 37, ERSKINE 33: The Indians outscored the Eagles 12-6 in the fourth quarter to hold on for the KVAC A win in South China.

Emma Duffy led Skowhegan (8-2) with nine points while Annie Cooke and Mariah Dunbar each had six.

Erskine (1-8) was led by Jordan Linscott with 13 points and Joanna Linscott with six.

CARRABEC 44, MT. ABRAM 39: Melanie Clark scored 16 points to lead all scorers in the Cobras’ MVC win in Salem.

Olivia Fortier added 10 points for Carrabec (4-5).

Lindsay Huff led the Roadrunners (5-5) with 11 points while Summer Ross chipped in 10.

WATERVILLE 35, MOUNT VIEW 32: Mackenzie St. Pierre scored a team-high 10 points and Maddie Martin finished with eight points and as many rebounds to lead the Purple Panthers in Thorndike.

Jada Murray scored six points for Waterville (5-5) as well. Andrea Crosby scored a game-high 13 points to lead Mount View (1-8).

LISBON 40, HALL-DALE 35: Giana Russo scored a game-high 12 points to lead the Greyhounds to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Farmingdale.

Valerie Doucette added eight points for Lisbon (4-6).

Cat Kincaid had seven points and 14 rebounds for Hall-Dale (2-8) while Kayla Searles chipped in eight points.
