MADISON — A community discussion about food sovereignty, food freedom is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, at the Kennebec Valley Grange, 560 Main St.
A potluck meal will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the panel discussion about Madison’s local food ordinance and the state’s new food sovereignty laws and how they affect the communities.
Acoustic folk music by Oak and Acorn will begin at 7 p.m.
Those who plan to attend are asked to bring a potluck dish and their community visions.
