Main Street Skowhegan seeks vendors and sponsors for the first Skowhegan Moose Festival planned for June 8-10 at the Skowhegan Fairgrounds.
The event will celebrate the Maine Inland Fisheries &Wildlife moose permit lottery drawing. Organizers expect the event will bring in as many as 5,000 visitors to the area.
Those interested can sponsor the event, sponsorships start at $50.
Advertising opportunities are available for the Skowhegan Moose Festival program, 5,000 copies will be printed and distributed to attendees.
Vendor space also is available at the event.
The festival will host activities for the whole family including contests, demonstrations and workshops. Live music, craft brews and local food will be available.
