WISCASSET — Teresa and Peter Fogg of Fogg Art Restoration will speak on “Approaching Conservation and Restoration of Paintings, Frames, Textiles and Documents” at 1 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 4, in the Communications Building behind the Lincoln County Court House.

The presentation is the first workshop in the Lincoln County Historical Association’s 2018 Winter Lecture Series. Coffee and pastries will be served.

The Foggs have worked as a team in the art and materials conservation world since 1987. They have participated in educational opportunities and done work at Sotheby’s, The Smithsonian Institution, The Seattle Art Museum, The Maine Maritime Museum, and with many other organizations and individual clients.

The historical association is a non-profit organization that provides stewardship for the 1754 Chapman-Hall House in Damariscotta, the 1761 Pownalborough Court House in Dresden, and the 1811 Old Jail and Museum in Wiscasset.

A donation is $5 is suggested.
