Falmouth police have released a surveillance camera photograph of the man who robbed the Cumberland County Teachers Credit Union at 101 Gray Road on Wednesday, in the hope that someone might recognize the robber.

On Thursday evening, the suspect, described as a white man about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds and wearing dark clothing and a black knit hat, was still at large, Falmouth police said.

The surveillance photograph released Thursday only shows his eyes and nose because most of his face was covered by a hood or scarf.

Lt. John Kilbride in a statement said the man entered the credit union just after noon on Wednesday and demanded money from a teller. The robber did not display a weapon.

He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running north on Gray Road toward Mountain Road.

Anyone who may have seen the suspect or seen a vehicle that may have picked him up around 12:05 p.m. is asked to contact Falmouth police at 781-2300.
