Portland police say they believe they have located the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash involving a 66-year-old woman crossing Walton Street in a motorized wheelchair.
The woman, who was not identified, suffered injuries that were not considered life threatening and remained hospitalized Wednesday, said Lt. Robert Martin of the Portland Police Department.
Detectives have located a white Hyundai SUV that they believe was involved in the crash, Martin said.
“We believe we are close to completing the investigation,” Martin said.
