Individuals and teams are sought to participate in The Longest Day, a fundraiser for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
Participants can choose an activity and raise funds toward a world without Alzheimer’s. Individuals can participate in a way, and on a day, that works with their schedule until the summer solstice in June. Those who register online by Feb. 28 will receive a T-shirt upgrade, according to a news release from the Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter, Portland.
The activities range from games, bridge tournaments, parties, events, arts, exercise and hobbies of all kinds.
Proceeds will benefit Alzheimer’s Association.
