MADISON — Evan Holzworth scored 19 points to lead the Carrabec boys basketball team to a 52-46 win over Madison in a Mountain Valley Conference game Saturday.

Dylan Willette scored 15 points, while Alex Stafford added 12 points for the Cobras (6-11).

Sean Whalen scored 17 points for the Bulldogs (9-9), while Evan Bess added eight points.

RANGELEY 83, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 46: Kenny Thompson scored 23 points to lead the Lakers to an East/West win over the Lions in Rangeley.

Will Brey scored 16 points, while Kyle LaRochelle added 15 points for the Lakers (9-7).

Mason Jones led GPC (0-12) with 29 points.


KENTS HILL 36, HYDE 26: Tiffany McGhie scored 17 points to lead the Huskies to the Class C South win in Kents Hill.

Lauren Murray and Jarni Hewins added six points for apiece for Kents Hill (11-5).

Maeve Dunn scored 19 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Hyde (4-11).

TEMPLE ACADEMY 40, NORTH HAVEN 26: Selam Heinrich scored 17 points to lead the Bereans to an East/West win over the Hawks in North Haven.

Daphne Labbe scored seven points, while Deleyni Carr added six points for Temple (11-6).

Mercedes Sparhawk led North Haven (2-12) with 18 points.

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 46, VALLEY 41: Abby Wirling scored 13 points to lead the Class D South win in Bingham.

Courtney Williams added 10 points for Seacoast (8-9).

Kendra Sweet scored 20 points to lead Valley (5-11) while Jillian Miller chipped in 10.

RICHMOND 36, HALL-DALE 28: Caitlin Kendrick had a double-double, scoring 12 points and grabbing 13 rebounds, to lead the Bobcats to an MVC win over the Bulldogs in Farmingdale.

Sydney Tilton added 12 points for Richmond (12-5).

Kayla Searles led Hall-Dale (5-12) with 10 points. Sabrina Freeman scored five points and had 10 rebounds.
