A four-vehicle crash in Scarborough caused considerable delays on the Maine Turnpike Thursday morning.
The turnpike authority said three cars and a garbage truck collided about 9:52 a.m., closing two northbound lanes of traffic for about half an hour while state police responded and investigated.
No one was injured in the crash. Crews cleared a second lane for travel by about 10:30, and all three lanes of the roadway were reopened about 11 a.m.
State Police are investigating the cause of the collision, the turnpike authority said.
