Portland police have responded to Gilman Street in Portland where a man was found unresponsive on the street.
Emergency medical technicians responded and worked to save the 46-year-old man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, said Lt. Robert Martin. Gilman Street is near Maine Medical Center in Portland’s West End.
Police are investigating, but there is no sign of foul play, and no indication yet of the cause or manner of death. The man’s identity is not being released until police can notify his family.
