WATERVILLE — The 2018 May Day Auction is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at Lakewood Continuing Care Center, at 220 Kennedy Memorial Drive. Proceeds will benefit the center on the Inland Hospital campus.
“The May Day Auction will once again feature some unique and fun items,” said John Dalton, president of Inland Hospital, according to a news release from the center. “It’s fun to see everyone having a good time with the bidding, and it’s great to know that the event directly supports the care provided at Lakewood and activities that enrich the lives of its residents.”
Proceeds from the auction fund Lakewood residents’ overnight summer trips to Belfast. A portion of the money raised will support the newly established Residents Activity Endowment Fund and other needs at Lakewood.
Marie Cormier will serve as auctioneer.
