SOUTH CHINA — Joanna Linscott scored three goals, including the game-winner, and Jordan Linscott added two more to lift the Erskine girls lacrosse team to a 9-8 win over Gardiner/Hall-Dale on Monday afternoon.

Ella Johnson had a goal and an assist and Ashlynn Wing had 11 saves for Erskine (3-2).

Michaela Gardner scored four goals to lead Gardiner.

CONY 13, MT. ARARAT 8: Sarah Caron had five goals and an assist to spark the Rams in Augusta.

Lauren Coniff added three goals and Faith Leathers-Pouliot had two for Cony (5-3). Kami Lambert, Sydney Avery and Sierra Clark also scored. Sarah Cooke-Wheeler made four saves.

Fiona Hoang scored four goals for the Eagles (0-7) while Erin Harty had two and Jessica Cloutier and Shannon Harty scored one apiece. Casi Perow stopped eight shots.

BASEBALL

BRIDGEWAY 10, OAK HILL 0, 5 INN. : Evan Holzworth had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs to lead the Bandits to the Mountain Valley Conference victory in Madison.

Senior Jacob Atwood had a single and a triple for Bridgeway (5-5) as well.

Reid Cote had a double to lead Oak Hill (3-6).

HALL-DALE 13, MTN. VALLEY 3, 6 INN.: Austin Stebbins had two hits and three RBIs, leading the Bulldogs (10-0) to the MVC victory in Farmingdale.

Akira Warren and Cole Lockhart each had two hits and two RBIs. Lockhart also pitched all six innings, striking out 10.

Dylan Desroches, Fischer Cormier and Hunter Ames had doubles for the Falcons (5-3).

LEWISTON 11, CONY 0, 5 INN.: Evan Cox had three singles and Owen Cox had a double to lead the Blue Devils to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win in Augusta.

Lewiston (7-4) scored nine runs in the top of the second inning.

Riley Geyer and Matt Wozniak singled to lead Cony (2-8).

EDWARD LITTLE 7, ERSKINE 2: Ben Cassidy had two hits, including a double, and picked up the win on the mound as the Red Eddies (11-0) remained unbeaten with a KVAC victory in South China.

Maxx Bell tripled for Edward Little, while Grant Hartley and Ethan Brown had doubles and Austin Brown had three singles.

Boomer Jorgensen had two hits, including a double, for the Eagles (4-7). Joe Clark had a double.

SOFTBALL

RICHMOND 10-14, ST. DOMINIC 0-0: Sydney Underhill-Tilton allowed just five hits and struck out 20 without issuing a walk, tossing the Bobcats to the doubleheader sweep in Richmond.

Underhill-Tilton also had five hits, including a double and a triple, for Richmond (8-0). Caitlin Kendrick also had a triple in the opening game, while Bry Shea had two hits, including a double, in the nightcap.

St. Dom’s fell to 2-7.

HALL-DALE 12, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 1, 4 INN.: Isabella Marino had a pair of doubles and the Bulldogs scored in every inning en route to the MVC win in Farmingdale.

Hall-Dale (5-5) scored four runs in both the first and second innings, another in the third and then three times in the fourth, needing only three hits in total. Emily Allen had the other hit for Hall-Dale.

Sarah Benner pitched a one-hitter with sixth strikeouts for the Bulldogs. Saydie Garbarini had the lone hit for Mountain Valley (0-10).

EDWARD LITTLE 16, ERSKINE 1, 6 INN.: Emily Lashua had four hits, including a double and a triple, to go along with four RBIs as the Red Eddies rolled in South China.

Anna LeBlanc doubled, tripled and drove in a pair for EL (7-4).

Parker King had a single to pace the Eagles (2-9).

LEWISTON 16, CONY 0: Meagan Gosselin had three doubles and Jordan Mynahan homered as the Blue Devils rolled to the KVAC A victory in Augusta.

Jordyn Rubin and Kallie May also had doubles for Lewiston (8-2).

Carly Lettre had a single for Cony (2-8).

LISBON 15, MONMOUTH 9: Lisbon pitcher Mallory Fairbanks surely did not make things easy for herself, walking 15 Mustangs, but made the right pitch at the right time in an MVC win.

At the plate, Lisbon (7-2) roughed up Monmouth ace Emily Chasse. The Greyhounds pounded out 13 hits and scored on all five walks the righty allowed, including intentional passes to Giana Russo in the sixth and Fairbanks in the seventh.

Of the 15 walks Fairbanks issued, only four came around to score. Monmouth (5-4) left 14 runners on base, including twice with the bases loaded.

GARDINER 6, LEAVITT 0, 6 INN.: Jasmine Clary had a home run and Jillian Bisson tossed a one-hitter to lead the Tigers to the KVAC B win in Gardiner.

Meghan Meehan added a double, two singles and an RBI for Gardiner (8-2) while Haley Brann and Bisson had two singles apiece.

Kassie Murch doubled for Leavitt (5-6).

BOYS LACROSSE

BANGOR 16, ERSKINE 8: Jacob Henry scored four goals and Reid Higgs added three to lead the Rams.

Caleb Tyler scored four goals and Ethan Furlong added two to lead the Eagles.
