OAKLAND — Austin Pelletier scored five goals to lead the Messalonskee boys lacrosse team to a 16-3 rout of Edward Little in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference game Thursday.

Dawson Charles added four goals for Messalonskee (6-5), while Colin Kenney scored three. CJ Reardon made seven saves for the Eagles. Ben Lamontainge made two saves for Edward Little. Caleb Davis scored twice for the Red Eddies.

CAMDEN HILLS 8, WINSLOW 2: Colby Nadeau and Isaac Lambrecht scored goals, but it wasn’t enough for the Black Raiders in Winslow.

Alex Demers had 13 saves for Winslow (5-5).

Bryce Tyler, Thomas Griebel, Charlie Griebel and Owen Rokus each scored two goals for Camden Hills (6-4).

SOFTBALL

WINTHROP 30, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 1: Layne Audet tossed a no-hitter and Kate Perkins hit for the cycle with two singles, a double, a triple and a home run to go along with six RBIs to lead the Ramblers to the Mountain Valley Conference win in Rumford.

Moriah Hajduk added a double, a triple and a home run for five RBIs for Winthrop (11-3) while Abby Shumway had three singles. Audet struck out seven, giving her 104 for the season.

Mountain Valley fell to 0-14.
