Pumpkin Vine Family Farm and market host an open house, in observance of National Dairy Month this month, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at 217 Hewett Road, Somerville. Free activities are planned for children and adults at its new education center.

Throughout the day visitors can taste test Jersey milk products and spend time with the baby goats.

Planned activities:

• Milk a goat will begin at noon. Attendees can watch, learn and try a hand at it.

• Grill cheese, Indian-style, is set for 1 p.m. Learn how to make paneer, and sample some off the grill.

• Hand-churned ice cream is scheduled at 2 p.m.

The farm is open every Sunday. Visitors can bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the view, explore the back fields, and check out the farmers market.
