LITCHFIELD — Blistered Fingers Bluegrass Festival will celebrate its 50th festival Wednesday, June 13, through Sunday, June 17, at the Litchfield Fairgrounds, 30 Plains Road.

The festival stage was built in 2010. There will be several vendors located on the grounds.

The event also includes the Blistered Fingers Kids Academy, a free, informative three-day music program for children for ages 6-18. The focus is how to play, sing and perform bluegrass music. Students can bring their own instruments and will commit to the three-day program. The children will receive a free T-shirt and perform a couple of songs as a group on Main stage.

Performers include Blue Highway, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, David Parmley & The Cardinal Tradition, Little Roy & Lizzy Long, Danny Paisley & The Southern Grass, The Dave Adkins Band, Zink & Company, The Misty Mountaineers, Tony & Heather Mabe, The Baker Family, Back Woods Road, Bluegrass Gospel Sing& Jam and the host band Blistered Fingers.

Prices per person (tickets available at gate):

• Earl Bird Camping (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday before festival) $10 per day per camper;

• children 16 and younger free with paying adult;

• Wednesday $15;

• Thursday $20;

• Friday $35, after 5 p.m. $25;

• Saturday $35, after 5 p.m. $25;
