“Pride@Prejudice” will be staged June 23 through Aug. 17 at Theater at Monmouth, 796 Main St. The play is based on Jane Austen’s novel opens the theater’s 2018 Summer Repertory Season adapted by Daniel Elihu Kramer.

Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy fall in love all over again — in Kramer’s romantic deconstruction of Austen’s classic. Playfully reinvented with modern-day characters literally stepping off the page to blog, google, and tweet, this homage to one of the world’s most popular love stories is delivered with humor, wit, and just a little sass

Performances are set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 23, and July 7, 11, Aug. 2 and 15; 1 p.m. July 22, 28 and Aug. 9.

Tickets cost $10-$34.
