Skowhegan Savings appoints Dubord community banker

Kristen Dubord has been named a community banker in Franklin County, according to a news release from Skowhegan Savings in Farmington. Her focus will be on personal and small business banking throughout the region.

“Kristen’s extensive real estate background provides her a unique insight when working with our mortgage customers and local brokers,” said Christopher Farmer, regional vice president of community banking for Franklin County, according to the release.

Former co-owner and designated real estate broker of Dubord Realty in Livermore Falls, she comes to the bank with more than 17 years of experience in commercial and territory sales management for High Mowing Organic Seeds, of Vermont, and Johnny’s Selected Seeds, based in Winslow.

Dubord graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in environmental geosciences. A resident of Norridgewock, she and her husband are avid outdoors enthusiasts and diversified farmers.

Tainter becomes assistant VP at Camden National Bank

Camden National Bank recently promoted Joshua Tainter to assistant vice president, commercial banking officer. In his new role, Tainer will handle the commercial banking needs of businesses in central Maine. In addition to serving his current customer base, he will be responsible for assisting new Camden National customers.

Tainter has been in the banking industry for seven years. Most recently, he was the commercial portfolio manager for the central Maine lending team. Before joining Camden National Bank, Tainter was a credit analyst at Auburn Savings Bank. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Thomas College.

Tainter is a co-founder of the Tainter Family Foundation, which helps local families burdened with the emotional and financial struggles associated with cancer diagnoses. He is on the board of directors of the Risk Management Association and the Promise Early Education Center, and he volunteers for area youth sports. Originally from Livermore Falls, Tainter lives with his wife, Brittany, and their son, Benson.
