The ninth annual Concerts at Norcross Point will kick off its summer season with The Calypso Soldiers from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 1, at the head of Maranacook Lake in Winthrop off Bowdoin Street.

All concerts will begin at 2, including its only Saturday concert on Aug. 18, which is in conjunction with the Annual Winthrop Art Walk and the Barbecue to End Hunger that same day.

Summer schedule:

• July 1, The Calypso Soldiers;

• July 8, The Rascals with Steve Jones and friends;

• July 15, The Colwell Brothers, singing blues and soulful song stylings;

• July 22, Simons and Goodwin, perennial folk favorites;

• July 29, open for concert moved because of rain;

• Aug. 5, Muddy Marsh Ramblers, bluegrass;

• Aug. 12, Maine U.S. Army National Guard Band;

• Aug. 18, Informal Talent Show, sign up;

• Aug. 19, Sons of Be’s, rock 90’s and beyond;

• Aug. 26, The Grownups with Malinda Liberty, rockin country.

The free concerts are children friendly and public restrooms will be open.
