TORONTO — Authorities are reporting the discovery of additional human remains at a Toronto property linked to an alleged serial killer who has been charged in the deaths of eight men.
Toronto’s Detective Sgt. Hank Idsinga said accused serial killer Bruce McArthur used the property as storage for his landscaping business. It was the second day in a row that remains were found there after a search resumed earlier this week.
Idsinga said Friday that authorities were working to identify the remains.
The 66-year-old McArthur was arrested in January and charged with the murder of eight men who disappeared starting around 2010 from an area of Toronto known as the Gay Village. He is scheduled to make his next court appearance on July 23.
