WALDOBORO — The Lincoln County Democratic Committee will conduct A Treat For Two raffle for a Maine excursion and Farm-to-Table meal, to be hosted Friday, Aug. 17, in the Turner Barn at Nebo Lodge on North Haven Island, according to a news release from the committee.
The winner will get round-trip transportation from Rockland to the island, a tour of the farm, a five-course meal, local brew and wine, twilight views, and conversation for two guests, a value of $300.
Raffle tickets cost $30 and are available at the LCDC Campaign Headquarters at 521 Main St. in Damariscotta. Office hours are noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Tickets also will also be available at all LCDC monthly meetings and/or by contacting Valerie Johnson at 549-3358 or valariesmithjohnson@gmail.com.
The raffle will be drawn Sunday, Aug. 12, during the LCDC Lobster Bake and Family Fun Day, held at Cider Hill Farm, 72 Medomak Terrace in Waldoboro. The winner does not need to be present to win, they will be contacted Sunday, Aug. 12, so they can ready to go the following Friday.
