The 7 Lakes 5K Trail Run will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, starting at the Round Top Mountain Trail Head off of Watson Pond Road in Rome.
Proceeds will benefit the newly merged organization of 7 Lakes Alliance, formally BRCA and the Maine Lakes Resource Center. The event will be held rain or shine at the Round Top trails system which is part of the Kennebec Highlands in Rome, just outside of Belgrade Lakes and close to the Maine Lakes Resource Center.
Registration will cost $20 in advance or $25 on race day. Bib pick-up is set for 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. To register, visit runreg.com/7-lakes-5k-trail-run.
